Subject: Consider architectural services proposals for a Parks, Open Space and Golf Maintenance Facility.
Present Situation:

A Request for Proposals was advertised on April 12th, 19th, and 26th for the above mentioned project. The City received five proposals from the following Helena firms: SMA Architects, Mosaic Architecture, Slate Architecture, CWG P.C. Architects and Dowling Studio Architects, PC. Amy Teegarden and Gery Carpenter reviewed the responses on May 4, 2015 and arranged for oral interviews with all respondents on May 21, 2015. The oral interviews were held with a City committee comprised of:  Gery Carpenter; Amy Teegarden; Larry Kurokawa, Golf Course Superintendent and Craig Marr, Parks Superintendent.

Background Information:

The first phase of this project is to provide the City with a schematic design that will meet the needs of the Parks and Recreation Department with associated costs. The committee ranked Dowling Studio Architects, PC number one to provide architectural services for this project with the initial contract for the first phase.
