Subject: 6th Ward Sidewalk Repair Services Award
Present Situation:

In preparation for future mill & overlay work in the 6th Ward, intersection corners were inspected and evaluated for ADA compliance.  During this inspection it was noted that there are numerous trip hazards in the 6th Ward.  With this knowledge the Transportation Department petitioned the Railroad TIF District to help fund the repair of these hazards.

 

The TIF Advisory Board recommended approval of said project in October 2020 and the City Commission subsequently awarded the TIF Grant on 25 January 2021 for the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars.  The Transportation Systems Department advertised a Request for Proposal for Sidewalk Repair Services pricing in April 2021.  One proposal was received from White Resources Group, Inc. out of Butte.  The submitted Price Sheet is attached.
Background Information: Consider awarding the 6th Ward Sidewalk Repair Services contract, Project TSD-36, to White Resources Group, Inc. for an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000).
