Consider a Resolution expanding the boundaries of the Open Space Maintenance District #1 for Fiscal Year 2022
Present Situation
:
The Open Space Maintenance District #1 allows for boundary changes one time yearly. The boundaries include all property within the corporate limits of the City of Helena.
Background Information
:
Expand the boundaries to include any property annexed into the City of Helena during the last fiscal year up to and including the date of June 7, 2021.
Proposal/Objective
:
Expand the boundaries to include any property annexed into the City of Helena during the last fiscal year up to and including the date of June 7, 2021.
Advantage
:
This step will allow the boundaries to be expanded prior to rates being set so all properties to be levied can provide public input.
